Our Little Warrior...

Sawyer has been hanging out with Daddy all summer! They have had so much fun doing "just boy" stuff. One day I came home and Michael had made this warrior outfit from an old towel for Sawyer and he was running around with a BIG sword!

Eager Beavers...

Swimming....

We have been taking Sawyer swimming just about every night when we can. He has no fear of the water and loves it. He has been wanting to jump off of the diving blocks and the lifeguard agreed to let him try. This is where he spent most of his swimming time. We even played a game where Sawyer would jump and try to grab the diving stick from us.

I have been really motivated to buy things locally. Here are two of my favorite local shops. I can't stay away. Check them out!

Names...

Have you ever found yourself eating your words? Like, when you say I will never do that, then you do that. Or I will never name my child a name that he/she doesn't go by. Or I will never name my children with a name that starts with the same letter. It all started with Sawyer. We named him Jaxon Sawyer Belue and of course he goes by Sawyer. We couldn't ever find a name that sounded good with Sawyer and that we were happy with, so we used a family name from Michael's family. Now that we know we are having a girl, we are set on using a name that we had for a boy too, Scout. With Scout, we feel like we need to use a feminine name too. So here are some of names we have been kicking around:

Kennedy Scout Belue
Berkley Scout Belue
Isabella Scout Belue
Arizona Scout Belue
Lillian Scout Belue
Addison Scout Belue
Anna Scout Belue
Penelope Scout Belue
Jillian Scout Belue

Then we also have Scout Epting Belue. So, this is kind of where we are with our name search. Let me know what you think?

In the end we will probably have Sawyer and Scout!

We're having a TOMATO!

On Monday at 8:30am we get to find out what we are having, boy or girl! We are very excited and Sawyer is going too. Just let me tell you that I think our baby will be a TOMATO. I have eaten tomato on biscuits, tomato in peas, tomato sandwiches, tomato and pickles, tomato and cheese, tomato and beans/rice, and the list goes on and on.

Splash Country and Charleston...

We had an eventful week and weekend! On Wednesday, we went to Splash Country which was a blast and then we headed for North Charleston on Thursday night. McKenzie had a baseball tournament so Sawyer and I tagged along. Just let me say that my heart ached for South Carolina. It made me miss my days at Clemson and I even enjoyed the hot weather despite being pregnant. I didn't take any pictures!

13 Weeks...

I am working on 13 weeks starting today! Finally, I'm over the yucky part of being pregnant. I still have heartburn unlike with Sawyer and I gag a lot. We are really anxious to know what we are having. We can find out sometime in June. What do you guys think...boy or girl?

Play Doh...

Michael and I returned from a date to Belk and Arby's and Sawyer and Mema had made these creatures out of Play Doh. What fun times!

Ready to Sing at Church...

Snack Time...

I brought home Sawyer's bouncy after letting our school borrow it and Sawyer wanted to sit in it and have snack. It made me realize how grown up he is already!

Caught...

As you can tell, Sawyer is all boy! He has been asking for a while now to be able to pee out my car window. I'm not joking. He likes to pee outside, on my tires, on my plants, off the front deck, etc.. I kept telling him that he could NOT pee out my car window. Then one day I had stuff to unload and he wanted to stay in the car. When I returned I observed wet liquid down the side of the car and on the ground and of course he confessed. Hopefully, the curiosity is over now! Who knows?

10 Weeks...

Well...today was my 10 week visit to the doctor. The heartrate was 168 and very strong. It was so refreshing to actually hear the hearbeat and know that I really have a baby in there. Although, I should be convinced after weeks of heartburn, gagging, and only being able to eat baked potatoes and rice. We have 8 more weeks until we can find out the sex of the baby. We are finding out this time to be able to prepare Sawyer. He is convinced that I am having a boy. I was very thankful that I hadn't gained any weight yet. You should see my belly. It is huge. I look like I am 4 to 5 months pregnant already. I'll keep you posted and show pics soon!

Prayer Request...

I had a friend from highschool who was killed in a car accident this past weekend along with her two precious sons. Her boyfriend was also killed along with one of his children. Please pray for these families during this difficult, uncertain time! I know that God can comfort and heal their broken hearts. Please pray.

Hand-me-downs....

Sawyer wears an 8 in shoes, but these cleats are size 11. He wears them anyway cause every 2 year old should have baseball cleats...And they make him run the bases even faster.

Proud Sister...

Well...I don't have an updated pic, but I am so proud of my brother, McKenzie. He tried out and made the Upstate Mavericks baseball team. He will be playing for the "White" team. He really wants to play baseball in college. He will be a Senior next year. Crazy!!
