Little Miss Into Everything...

I always wondered why other parents would baby proof everything in their house...now I know why!!!

Cheap Soccer Cleats...

I went to the sport's store, told the lady that I needed the cheapest cleats she had, she told me that these were the ones that nobody else liked, and of course I was in heaven cause they were Clemson colors!!

Kitchen Redo...

So, I have always wanted a white farm sink, white cabinets, and butcher block countertops. See the before and after. I need to dig for pics of my kitchen when we first moved into our house.

Vacation to St. Augustine...

Our sweet little flower

The pier at night

Sawyer's favorite thing about vacation. We rode in a carriage pulled by a horse named Rusty Francis around the historical part of St. Augustine!

Kitchen Re-do...

New Farm Sink from Ikea

Granite countertops, with butcher block island

We are very excited about our new ktichen coming soon. Our cabinets will be painted white, with granite counter tops on around our farm sink, and a butcher block will be on our island. I'll be adding a pot rack and then we should be done!

Projects...

Found this shelf in Virginia at an antique store. It was a really ugly dark wood color so I painted it white. It holds our stationary, mail, and magazines.

Had old pillow, found fabric at Ikea, recovered by my sister-in-law

Old hutch from my mother-in-law. Took doors off each side and inserted wine racks.

I put a fresh coat of black paint on it. Looks like new! I hadn't put the hardware on yet in this one. Here's another one with hardware.

Complete with hardware

Had barnwood frame, added insert and painted it like a chalkboard!

Happy Birthday America...

I made this sweet little treat for Sawyer's preschool class. It was wheat thin crackers, cream cheese, raspberries, and blueberries! Yummy!

Sawyer kept saying, "happy birthday America!" He even called the flag the happy birthday America flag. He was sooo patriotic this year.

Cute Face...

Stand Up...

Surfin' Sawyer...

For Father's Day, Sawyer gave this pic to Michael for his visor and it said, "Dad you are gnarly dude!"

Scoutem...Poutems!

Oh, our sweet Lily Scout is getting soooo big! She is crawling everywhere and is pulling up on everything too. She will be walking soon and already has 3 teeth. It seems like she is growing up so quickly. Her personality is filled with enthusiasm and lots of smiles. She loves to dance and sing. I love her unique eye color. They look blue, but are actually more of a light green color. Her right eye has a blue window in it. She is one of a kind and we are so blessed to have her in our lives! We love you Lily Scout!

Sweet Siblings...

Sawyer and Scout love each other so much! When Scout sees Sawyer her little eyes light up and Sawyer is the first to say that he will always protect his sister. Here they are enjoying the kitchen sink. Soon, it will be replaced with a white farm sink which should provide even more fun times with Saw and Scout.

(Deep breath!)

Thank you God for all of my blessings! I am so blessed!!

We had Muffins in May today to celebrate our mothers. One of my gifts from Sawyer included a completed questionaiire. It was precious and yes, I cried!

On the way to school yesterday, Sawyer started this conversation:
Sawyer: Oh, Mama I wanted to be a rockstar today!
Me: Really...what does a rockstar wear?
Sawyer: You know, a tank top with a rockstar t-shirt under it and pants with stars!
Me: Oh..ok, do you have pants with stars on them?
Sawyer: No!
Me: Well, we will have to get you a rockstar outfit.
Sawyer: ok

Scout has her first tooth! It poked through on the bottom yesterday!!

Craziest Week...

So, I had prepared myself for a very busy week but had not prepared myself for the craziest week of my life. See the list below.

1. 3 Nightly Meetings (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and 2 baseball games
2. Caught in traffic on the way to 2nd meeting which caused stress about being late
3. Cell phone died
4. Dryer died
5. Locked myself out of building at work
6. Consultant visit which went great but caused high stress
7. Final grades were due
8. Muffins in May at school
9. Developed a cold sore on my lip
10. God is Good!!

I'm alive and still breathing and so thankful that God will never give me more than I can handle cause I've got HIM!
