One of our favorite local coffee shops, The Coffee Zone, hosted the Town of Bethlehem event.We decided to get a family pic with the donkey. Remember the Belue Christmas card the first year Michael and I were married?
can not even handle the cuteness. sawyer talked about this at school non stop. and today when he picked out his costume for the nativity he kept wondering where the horse was that should have been with baby Jesus in the stable. i tried to explain that poor people couldnt have horses like rich people when Jesus was born and that Mary and Joseph were poor. thats why we have donkeys at christmas. we even sang little brown donkey clip clop clip clop. He seemed ok with that answer until two seconds later when the page turned, a new nativity picture appeared, and he wondered again where the horseys were.
